Web Services

If you are an artist, and want a website with a provider who does art and understands artists AND computers, this may be your new home!

I can provide a total solution: from professionally photographing and digitizing your art, to designing and implementing your site, possibly with custom programming, group discussion and database features, through publishing it on my battery- and generator-backed server, connected to a national "Tier 1" Internet backbone provider.

(To complement your site, I can also supply gallery-quality reproductions or economical publicity material.)

Or if you prefer (assuming you have basic computer skills and access to web authoring software), I can tutor you, so you can maintain your own site. See prices for details.

A simple "web presence" site, with a couple samples of your art and basic contact info, can be done in an hour or two. A custom "exhibit" site with numerous pieces of artwork, indexed by thumbnail, may take several days of work.

I now have a fixed-price solution for those who don't need heavy customization! I can have your gallery website ready for you to begin uploading images of your work in a couple days! These sites feature a searchable, sortable gallery with multiple-size images and on-line ordering via PayPal. See prices for details.

Here are a some sites I developed and host:

  • Mac Mini server, 4GB RAM, 1 TB disk, MacOS 10.6 (Snow Leopard Unix).
